velocityHUB Pittsburgh had its second Leadership Forum To Drive Leadership, Strategy And Executive Development In Pittsburgh.

Nick Ambeliotis, the founder and CEO of Mediterra Bakehouse was our keynote speaker at the velocityHUB Leadership Forum on August 21st at the Hotel Cambria in Pittsburgh. The theme was “What Defines Leaders?”.

Nick created a $10m+ bread baking business called Mediterra when no-one believed it could be done. His vision, drive for excellence, confidence, passion, persistence, faith and much more is what makes great leaders. We asked Nick, a recent EY Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, to share what makes him successful.

Over 30 people joined from different businesses and industries. We had great interaction with lots of personal and professional questions and even enjoyed samples of Mediterra’s breads!

Great feedback from some of our participants:

Fantastic event. Thanks to velocityHub for hosting and to Nick Ambeliotis for sharing his powerful journey.”

“Nick and the family’s story is a great one, almost as good as the bread!”

“It was very inspiring to hear Nick tell his story. I love Mediterra bread, I start every day with coffee and one of their breads!”

“It was quite an inspiring evening : At the same time a business and a life learning for each participant, with key ingredients such as PASSION and VISION…”
